Stomach Shrinkage

I found an interesting blog post on CathyM’s weight loss blog.  Be sure to check her post because she covers a question I’ve been wondering about for quite some time:

Does your stomach shrink if you eat less?

This is something of interest to me as i have lost a bit of weight and I’ve really noticed that i can’t keep up with the big dogs anymore. 🙂  Yesterday I went to a buffet with 30 people and had a plate of salad, a plate of 6 sushi rolls, and a plate of fruit… yes this sounds like a lot as it is (18.5 points baby!) but normally i would just be getting started… a few stretches later and I would be ready to handle some Serious food.

Fortunately yesterday i was Stuffed and couldn’t handle any more :).

  1. Hello, This is Mary

I am 36 years old with 2 toddlers. My youngest just started day care last week- which still feels a little strange. I haven’t had this much time to myself in years. First thing I want to do is lose the extra pounds I put on during the last pregnancy. One of the girls next door has suggested I join her walking group two days a week. After my first pregnancy I lost around 35 pounds using the Herbalife products, but when I called the man that sold them to me three years ago he told me this week he doesn’t sell them anymore. He told me to look on the internet. It’s disappointing because he was really nice and he called me regularly to make sure I was using their products correctly. It was nice to have someone checking in with me every week to see how I was and it kept me motivated.

I searched on the internet for someone that sells Herbalife in New Jersey. I found many websites but I don’t want
just to buy the products, I want to find someone trustworthy that sells the products so I can also meet them and get started again.

Could anybody here recommend someone in New Brunswick?.

    Thanks, Mary

  2. I have to say that an unfortunate situation with my health had an impact on my weight for about a month. It wasn’t that I wasn’t hungry, I couldn’t get up and down and cook or snack whenever I wanted to. Now, almost back to normal, I cannot eat the amounts I did before (whichis a good thing). I’ve lost 11 lbs. and hope this inability to overeat continues.

  3. Yes your stomach can shrink when you don’t stretch it by eating too much. Warning!! this does not mean undereating is the answer because that is even worst. The key is to eat enough calories but in smaller portions.
